Setera Audio+

Setera Audio+, IP-based audio system, which can be used for instance in shopping malls, public spaces, schools, theatres and hotels.

The system makes audio transmissions such as public announcements more flexible and easier to set up. With NetSpeaker you can improve audio marketing, facilitate sharing of information and improve the safety of the users in the facility.

NetSpeaker enables making announcements and audio playback on the IP network. The loudspeaker network is visible and easy to manage from one or multiple points within the IP network. The solution is not location-specific and can be used over the company's entire IP network.

NetSpeaker can completely replace today's announcement and audio systems built on separate networks. The cost savings may be significant, since there is no need for a separate 100-V cabling for the loudspeaker network – the company's existing IP network can be used.

With the help of the system, it is possible to create as many as 100 separate announcement or playback areas. You can define scheduled functions on the network. For instance, standard-form announcements can be timed with the calendar function. The system replays the pre-recorded announcements when and where specified.

Announcements can be played on the network even on an off-line mode, which means that the recordings are automatically uploaded on a memory card installed in the NetSpeaker unit. The announcements are then played out locally, and the state of the IP network does not affect this function. The off-line function is a significant advantage, for instance, in situations where the IP network is temporarily down or experiencing other interference.
